February 2 2016(Reuters) - CCT International Inc. (CCT) is pleased to announce on February 1, 2016 the signing of a strategic partnership agreement (ASL agreement) with International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) to integrate and bundle IBM Maximo into CCT's Armada asset management products. Armada empowers owners/ operators to better manage and maintain their equipment, vehicles and construction fleet. Armada has helped organizations reduce maintenance costs by up to 15% and downtimes by up to 25% while increasing asset life, safety and visibility. Armada users are able to optimize the utilization of their resources, prioritize work orders, optimize parts inventory, manage fuel consumption, integrate with telematics tracking systems and significantly lower maintenance costs.

The agreement focuses on delivering one integrated product for CCT's diverse construction customers (reducing implementation time, training and support costs). The new licensing offering will also mean customers will need to purchase only one platform.

"Delivering construction projects on time and within budget is highly dependent on equipment availability. Unexpected down-times, inadequately kept parts inventory and misplaced assets can have significant direct and indirect impacts on projects." stated Zuhair Haddad, Chairman of CCT International. "Our collaboration with IBM will allow our customers to receive one solution tailored for the vehicles and equipment typically used by contractors. It will also boost delivery quality and time to customers."

CCT has successfully implemented Armada with Maximo on a diverse number of projects. One of CCT's key customers, a mega contractor operating an asset portfolio of over $1B, saves around $15m a year since implementing the system in 2012. ROI was realized a few months after implementation.
