news title

As construction activities become more complex, digital projects are not only set to be a priority but they also constitute the backbone of all construction sectors. Ever since technology has emerged in the industry, the latter has seen a major upraise in terms of improved ROI, cost reduction and faster project delivery.

The conference presented by Fiatech and COMIT entitled " Efficiency Through Digital Projects" aims to illustrate and highlight the effectiveness of the three prominent elements in construction (People, Process and Technology) when integrated within digital projects. Mr. Firas Hijazi, Manager IS Projects Automation and Controls will be delivering a presentation entitled "Digital Processing at the Workface-Interactively Natural" featuring the use and benefits of data capture systems being used in the Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal airport project. His focus will be on digital pens and its significant results in speeding up the process of gathering data and increasing accuracy throughout the project life-cycle. Moreover, he will emphasize on the ROI based on a scenario analysis of the actual project, showcasing productivity benefits of digital pen versus the traditional "pen and paper" process.
